A crash has backed up traffic on I-39/90 heading north from Beloit.

The crash happened near mile marker 180, about a mile north of Woodman Road between Janesville and Beloit.

All lanes and shoulders are closed at the moment. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says it could take more than two hours for traffic to clear up.

Drivers in the area should expect delays or consider alternate routes.

WisDOT released the following directions for an alternate route:

Northbound traffic will exit I-39/I-90 at CTH S. West on CTH S to CTH BT. Continue on CTH BT to CTH G. North on CTH G to WIS 11. East on WIS 11 back to I-39/I-90 northbound .
