ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- Today was the first birthday for "tiny but mighty Bink".
That's the nickname that Bianca Latino's parents gave her.
Bink was born with a port-wine stain. She also has a condition called Sturge-Weber syndrome that affects her brain and her eye.
She's going through laser treatments to help relieve some of the malformation. Her parents are celebrating her birthday and fundraising for the Sturge-Weber Foundation.
"It's really just in honor of her. She's really been kindof a superhero in her first year here, so hence the superhero theme. She's been very courageous with the treatment and everything she's gone through, so we're just kindof honoring her with that," said Bink's father Brandon Latino.
Bink is diagnosed with type one Sturge-Weber syndrome. That means she will have the condition for her entire life.
