Thursday continued the mild trend that is beginning December 2019. The streak of above normal days will take a small break on Friday before resuming for the weekend.
Expect a wind shift on Friday, with the winds coming out of the north instead of the south. With these northerly winds, temperatures will be a bit cooler than the last few days. High temperatures on Friday will be in the mid-to-upper 30's. This will not last long as improvements arrives once again for the weekend.
Temperatures Saturday and Sunday will be quite mild once again for this time of the year. Saturday will have mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid-to-lower 40's. This will best day of the weekend to spend outside and perhaps hang holiday lights and decorations if you haven't done so already.
Sunday looks to be even warmer, with highs in the upper 40's and in spots, flirting with 50°. Skies, however, will be on the overcast side ahead of a cold front. There is a small rain chance late Sunday into Monday.
High temperatures will occur early in the day Monday, as the cold front will make our temperatures plunge. Expect some rain and snow showers Monday with a high of 41° early. A very small chance for snow comes very early Tuesday, followed by rapid clearing and a major cold period.
High temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday will struggle to get out of the teens. Wind chills in the single digits and at times, especially late and early periods, will be below zero. The silver lining, no big snows during this period and it also looks to be brief as well.
