Congressman Adam Kinzinger hosts Facebook Live town hall
LOVES PARK, Ill. (WIFR) -- After several calls to hold a town hall meeting congressman Adam Kinzinger representing the 16th congressional district compromises by holding a Facebook Live town hall meeting.
Jane Wiedel says it's not the most ideal setting to get information on where her representative stands however she did manage to get a few questions answered.
Among the revelations in Congressman Kinzinger's town hall he has called on President Trump to release his tax returns, he does not support cutting funding for meals on wheels, and supports legalization of marijuana.
Congressman Kinzinger also believes Obamacare is failing and supports repealing and replacing it. In any case Wiedel would still prefer an official town hall meeting.
"His assumption that it would be unruly is unfair and I think he needs to give it a chance. This was obviously very limited a half an hour of questions he chose and I wasn't real impressed with the whole thing to be honest with you," explains Wiedel.
The Facebook Live town hall lasted about half an hour.
