Chicago Bears to give away bobbleheads at all 2019 home games

CHICAGO (WIFR) -- As part of the team's 100th anniversary celebration this upcoming season, the Chicago Bears have a nice surprise in store for fans.

The Bears announced Tuesday that they will give away bobbleheads at ten games this season, including two preseason games and eight regular season games.

The bobbleheads recognize former players and coaches who will be honored along with specific decades or eras of Chicago Bears football.

The first 20,000 fans to enter the stadium will receive a voucher to pick up a bobblehead at their designated area before kickoff.

Here’s the schedule, with date, opponent, decade being recognized and bobblehead:

Aug. 8 vs. Panthers (1920s): Red Grange

Aug. 29 vs. Titans (1950s): Bill George

Sept. 5 vs. Packers (1980s): Mike Ditka

Sept. 29 vs. Vikings (1930s): Bronko Nagurski

Oct. 20 vs. Saints (1970s): Walter Payton

Oct. 27 vs. Chargers (2000s): Brian Urlacher

Nov. 10 vs. Lions (1940s): Sid Luckman

Nov. 24 vs. Giants (1960s): Dick Butkus and Gale Sayers

Dec. 5 vs. Cowboys (1990s): Mike Singletary

Dec. 22 vs. Chiefs (2010s): Devin Hester
