CherryVale Mall Black Friday bash

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - CherryVale Mall says it will be opening its doors at 6 a.m. on Black Friday with doorbusters and giveaways.

A doorbuster package will be available to the first 250 people in line at the Northwest entrance near US Bank. The package includes a gift card for one of the mall's retailers.

There will be a DJ near Soma and White House Black Market where shoppers can enter to win hourly prizes. At 3 p.m. the DJ will announce the Grand Prize winner of Black Friday with Your Bestie. The winner and their best friend will receive $250 in CherryVale Mall gift cards to different retailers.

For the chance to win $500 in retailer gift cards, a reserved parking spot on Black Friday, breakfast and more, shoppers can text "SANTA" to 444222 by 11 p.m. on November 19.
