Caring Canines calendars now available, benefit Rockford Police K-9 unit

A new calendar offers the chance to satisfy your puppy fix and keep Rockford streets safer at the same time.

SwedishAmerican's Caring Canines calendars are now on sale. Proceeds benefit the Rockford Police Department's K-9 Unit.

"SwedishAmerican's Caring Canines therapy dog program will turn 10 years old this year," says Claudia Aschbrenner, Director of Caring Canines. "We would like to pay tribute to their counterparts from the Rockford Police Department."

The 12-month calendar costs $12. Each month features a different four-legged friend from the SwedishAmerican Caring Canines therapy dog program.

You can purchase calendars on Dec. 6, Dec. 11, Dec. 16, Dec. 18 and Dec. 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the SwedishAmerican dining commons, or on Dec. 12 and Dec. 19 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Heart Hospital lobby.
