Belvidere woman drives 4 times legal alcohol limit, sentenced for fifth DUI offense

BOONE COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) -- A Belvidere woman was sentenced to eight years in prison for driving nearly four times the legal alcohol limit.

Anna L. Mueller, 60, was convicted of her fifth aggravated DUI offense on April 9, 2019 after a bench trial.

Police say Mueller's blood alcohol level at the time of her arrest was 0.322, more than four times the legal limit.

Mueller's sentence will be followed by two years of mandatory supervised release, according to the Boone County State's attorney.
