A $38 million project at Beloit College is in the running for a prestigious architecture award.
The Powerhouse, designed by Belvidere native Jeanne Gang, is a finalist for the 2019 Architizer A+ Awards. The awards intend to promote and celebrate the world’s best architecture.

Last year, the Powerhouse earned the 2018 WAFX prize at the World Architectural Festival.
