Beef-A-Roo owners pay for damage done to employees cars

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- Last Friday the Beef-A-Roo on Auburn Street was vandalized after a man had taken a baseball bat to the windows of the building and the windows of several employees vehicles. Now, Beef A Roo is helping those employees pay for the damage to their cars.

The Eckburg Insurance Group says Beef-A-Roo's insurance plan will help cover the damage of the building but not the cars. When the owners of the restaurant found this out they decided to write a check for the damage done to those three cars to help out their loyal employees. One owner of the restaurant said in a statement, "Our employees mean the world to us. We didn't give it two seconds of thought. We knew what we had to do."
