32-year-old Rockford man arrested for local bank robbery

Dion Dixon, 32, of Rockford has been arrested following an FBI investigation of a Friday morning at Associated Bank.
Dixon was charged with aggravated robbery.
Police say they learned the robbery suspect entered the bank, implied he had a weapon and demanded money from a worker.
Officers found the suspect near the intersection of 11th Street and Broadway.
Dixon was taken into custody. He is being held in Winnebago County Jail in lieu of a bail.
Dixon is considered innocent unless proven guilty by the court of law.
