UPDATE: WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) - The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office says two people have minor injuries from Monday afternoon's accident on I-39.

The driver of a vehicle pulling a travel trailer told investigators that wind from a passing semi overturned the trailer. The two people in that vehicle have minor injuries.

During the traffic backup, a second accident happened at Baxter and South Mulford roads.

Deputies say a driver from Missouri treated the intersection as a four-way stop, instead of a two-way stop and crashed into a car traveling eastbound on Baxter.

One person in the car from Missouri has minor injuries.

The Illinois State Police say I-39 is clear and open.
