A wanted Freeport man turns himself in after home invasion

FREEPORT, Ill. (WIFR) - A Freeport man wanted in a home invasion turns himself into police.

Raymond Adams, 18, turned himself into police on Thursday.

Police said the incident happened in the 500 block of W. Pleasant St. in Dec. of 2019.

According to authorities two victims were home when they heard a knock on the door. One victim answered the door when the suspected allegedly violently entered the home pushing the victim over. Two other suspects followed into the home and took items from the victims and injuring one. Police say the suspects then left the home.

Adams faces multiple charges including home invasion, conspiracy of home invasion, robbery, residential burglary, and two counts of misdemeanor battery.

Ray Adams is being held at the Stephenson County Jail on bond.
