A couple says their "I do's" in a hospital

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) -- It's a story book Valentine's Day wedding at SwedishAmerican heart hospital. As a man marries his bride, bed side while literally waiting for a new heart.

Jeffery Wagner and his fiancée Michelle had big wedding plans for today. But, those plans had to be scrapped after Jeffrey learned that due to health reasons he had to be moved up the heart transplant list. When a nurse heard about the ceremony that was supposed to take place, some of the medical team members stepped in to save the day, conducting a wedding ceremony on the hospital's third floor.

Michelle speaks on their wedding, "We went to Mayo Clinic, for a third opinion on his health, in January. And they did tell us that he does need to move forward for the heart transplant list. So, because of that, we moved the wedding up, and he chose Valentine's Day."
