ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – More than 700,000 Jeep Grand Cherokees and Dodge Durangos are being pulled off the road as Fiat-Chrysler warns of brake problems in the vehicles.
The car company says the vehicles may have had a brake shield installed incorrectly. They believe that could lead to a water leak and limit the ability for the car to brake. The recall impacts Grand Cherokee and Durango models from 2011 to 2014. Fiat Chrysler says it knows of one crash potentially related to the recall, but no injuries have been reported. The recall will begin for drivers on November 7th.
