Shannon joined WIFR as a multimedia journalist in May of 2017.

Shannon was born and raised in Rockford. She attended Boylan Catholic High School and then went on to receive a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a concentration in sports reporting from the best school in the country, Michigan State University. GO GREEN!

While at MSU, Shannon interned at a local news station in Lansing as well as a government access channel in Meridian Township, Michigan where she reported on local news. Shannon also worked for Big Ten Network Student U, a student-run group that broadcasts MSU sporting events. Shannon was a part of the production crew and also did sideline reporting and color commentating for BTN Student U. She was also an active member in her sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha.

When she's not working Shannon enjoys hanging with friends and family, attending sporting events and binge watching Netflix.
