Nick Viland joined the WRDW and WAGT team in June 2022.
Nick was born and raised in Marietta, Ga. He graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in journalism in April of 2022.
While at college, Nick spent time reporting for WOUB, southeast Ohio's local TV station. While there he was active in the community providing the area with news coverage and was head of an Emmy award winning high school football show.
When he's not in the newsroom, Nick is playing golf, cheering on all of Atlanta's professional teams (especially the Braves) and the Ohio State Buckeyes or running on the local trails. Feel free to reach out to him at nicholas.viland@wrdw.com.
