A big sports fan, Danielle started as a sports anchor/multimedia journalist at 23 WIFR in November 2016. Danielle became a member of the 23 News This Morning team in February 2018, and she is thrilled to be reporting the news in her hometown.
After graduating from Boylan High School, she attended DePaul University, where she earned degrees in journalism and public relations/advertising.
“I’ve always had a passion for telling other people’s stories, and I love that I get to do that through my job,” she said. “It is our job to first find out the facts and take a deeper look into how that issue might impact our lives and our neighbors' lives."
Danielle credits her father for teaching her the importance of working hard and giving back to the community you live in. She enjoys spending time with family, doing pilates and being outdoors with her husband Drake and their dog, Dixie. Some of her other passions include singing, baking, gardening, cooking and traveling.
