He was destined for journalism - or at least his mom thought he was. Brandon says when he was in the 8th grade his mother told him he would be a good sports broadcaster. "My high school luckily had an academy that taught multimedia production. I applied, and the rest is history."
Brandon says the role of a journalist is to be an unbiased check and balance on the world and the community they serve. His goal is to do that for the people of the Rockford region.
When he is not telling the stories of people in Northern Illinois, Brandon can be found doing anything that involves sports. He says his life is about sports, he has played since he was 4 years old and he loves to play or watch sports at all times. "It is my passion, and my release from stress."
