2 men charged in 2021 murder on Jonathan Avenue

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - Two men already in custody face charges in a 2021 murder.
Kenneth Ternoir, 34, and Brandon Taylor, 31, of Rockford are charged with the first-degree murder of 28-year-old Louie Lee.
On October 5, 2021, Rockford police got a call for a gunshot victim in the 2400 block of Jonathan Avenue.
Officers say they found Lee inside a home with multiple gunshot wounds. He later died at the hospital.
Ternoir is currently serving a sentence in the Illinois Department of Corrections for an unrelated case. Taylor is in custody at the Winnebago County Jail after being found guilty in the 2020 murder of Tammy Gonzalez.
