WINNEBAGO, Ill. (WIFR) - The Indians are looking to build off momentum from the 2022 season as the team looks to build off their first-round playoff exit from a year ago.

“All those guys that were in those games are ready to have some more fun, they’re big football guys since they were young and we’re just trying to keep the momentum through all the way to the playoffs,” Winnebago senior RB/LB Logan Olson said.

“We’ve all had that chemistry since we were young like Logan said and I’m just ready to see how we do,” Winnebago senior RB Supreme Muhammad said.

Winnebago will pick up where they left off when they open their season against Lutheran. The ‘Saders clinched playoff eligibility in last year’s regular-season finale against the Indians.
