Children’s Safe Harbor introduces new Executive Director, Jillisa Bondurant

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) - Children’s Safe Harbor announced their new Executive Director on Friday.

Jillisa Bondurant starts her role as Executive Director on March 7, 2022. Sheis a former Winnebago County CASA Advocate Supervisor and Facilitator, then the Program Director and Interim Executive Director.

Bondurant was with the department for eight years total as an integral in developing policies and procedures, securing grants, and successfully navigating the agency through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Her credentials include significant knowledge of Juvenile Court practices and the Child Welfare System and well built connections with the county and courts.

Children’s Safe Harbor is thrilled to welcome Bondurant’s experience and passion for working with children and families, as well as her energy and excitement around the important advocacy and services the organization provides.
