Holliday .was charged with a violation of Scott’s Law, DUI, no insurance, driving too fast for conditions and improper lane usage.
No injuries have been reported.
A person who violates Scott’s Law faces fines up to $10,000 for a first offense. If the violation results in injury to another person, the violator faces up to two year suspension of their driver’s license.
In 2021, Illinois State police have seen 22 squad cars struck in relation to Scott’s Law and 13 Troopers have sustained injuries from Scott’s Law-related crashes.
