ROSCOE, Ill. (WIFR) - The victim found at the U-Haul storage facility in Roscoe on Tuesday has been identified.

Michelle Arnold-Boesigner, 33 years of age of Harvard, Illinois, was found dead in a storage unit at the U-Haul storage site off 251 and McCurry Road, according to the Roscoe Police Department.

This investigation was initiated from a missing person’s report received by the Holiday Hills Police Department on Jan. 3. On Jan. 26, the investigation was turned over to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.

Roscoe Police and Winnebago County Sheriff responded to the scene after a dead body was found in one of the storage lockers. Through the course of the investigation, probable cause was established to get a search warrant, and the execution of the warrant was performed at the storage unit where the dead body was found.

The investigation is currently ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time and there is no reason to believe the public is at risk, according to the Roscoe Police Department.
