IDPH: 14K more COVID-19 cases, 168 new deaths

As of Wednesday night, 6,037 in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WIFR) - The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 14,612 new confirmed and probable cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, including 168 additional deaths.

The deaths were reported in the following counties:

- Bureau County: 1 male 60′s, 1 female 90′s

- Champaign County: 1 male 60′s, 1 male 80′s

- Christian County: 1 female 70′s

- Cook County: 1 female 30′s, 1 male 40′s, 1 female 50′s, 4 males 50′s, 6 males 60′s, 6 females 70′s, 3 males 70′s, 3 females 80′s, 3 males 80′s, 5 females 90′s, 3 males 90′s

- Cumberland County: 1 female 90′s

- DeWitt County: 1 female 80′s

- DuPage County: 2 males 60′s, 3 females 70′s, 2 males 70′s, 4 females 80′s, 2 males 80′s, 1 female 90′s

- Effingham County: 1 male 70′s, 1 female 80′s

- Greene County: 1 female 60′s, 1 male 80′s, 1 male 90′s

- Jackson County: 1 female 90′s

- Kane County: 1 female 50′s, 2 males 70′s, 4 males 80′s, 2 females 90′s

- Kankakee County: 1 male 70′s, 1 female 80′s

- Kendall County: 1 female 70′s, 1 male 90′s

- Knox County: 2 females 80′s

- Lake County: 2 males 60′s, 1 male 70′s, 2 females 80′s, 1 male 80′s, 1 female 90′s, 2 male 90′s

- LaSalle County: 1 male 70′s, 1 male 80′s, 1 female 90′s, 1 male 90′s

- Lee County: 1 male 70′s

- Livingston County: 1 male 80′s

- Macon County: 3 males 60′s, 2 males 70′s, 1 female 80′s, 1 male 80′s, 1 female 90′s

- Madison County: 1 female 70′s, 1 male 70′s, 1 female 80′s, 2 females 90′s, 1 male 90′s

- Marion County: 1 female 70′s

- McDonough County: 1 male 70′s, 1 male 80′s

- McHenry County: 1 male 60′s, 1 male 70′s, 3 females 80′s, 3 males 80′s, 1 female 90′s, 1 male 90′s

- McLean County: 1 male 60′s, 1 male 80′s

- Morgan County; 1 male 80′s

- Moultrie County: 1 male 70′s

- Ogle County: 1 female 60′s, 1 male 80′s, 1 female 90′s

- Peoria County: 2 females 90′s

- Perry County: 1 male 80′s

- Pike County: 1 female 80′s

- Randolph County: 1 male 80′s

- Rock Island County: 1 male 70′s

- Sangamon County: 1 male 60′s, 2 males 70′s, 1 female 80′s, 1 female 90′s, 1 male 90′s

- St. Clair County: 1 male 80′s

- Stephenson County: 1 male 70′s, 1 female 80′s, 2 females 90′s

- Tazewell County: 1 male 50′s, 2 females 60′s, 1 female 80′s, 1 male 80′s

- Vermilion County: 1 male 40′s, 1 male 60′s, 2 females 70′s

- Wabash County: 1 female 60′s, 1 male 90′s

- Wayne County: 1 male 70′s

- White County: 1 male 80′s

- Whiteside County: 1 female 80′s, 1 male 80′s, 1 female 90′s, 1 female 100+

- Will County: 1 female 80′s, 1 male 80′s

- Williamson County: 1 male 70′s

- Winnebago County: 1 male 50′s, 2 males 80′s

- Woodford County: 1 male 90′s

Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 621,383 cases, including 11,178 deaths, in 102 counties in Illinois. The age of cases ranges from younger than one to older than 100 years. Within the past 24 hours, laboratories have reported 113,447 specimens for a total 9,472,674. As of Wednesday night, 6,037 in Illinois were reported to be in the hospital with COVID-19. Of those, 1,192 patients were in the ICU and 587 patients with COVID-19 were on ventilators.

The preliminary seven-day statewide positivity for cases as a percent of total test from Nov. 12 to Nov. 18 is 12.0 percent. The preliminary seven-day statewide test positivity from Nov. 12 to Nov. 18 is 14.0 percent.
