Emily is now alive and well in the Eastern Caribbean, and is showing signs of not only becoming the first Hurricane of the season, it could also be the first to directly impact the U.S. Mainland!

As of late Monday night, Emily was just barely maintaining Tropical Storm strength, possessing 40mph sustained winds about 300 miles SE of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Moving to the West presently, and eventually WNW, then NW, the storm's likely to impact SW Puerto Rico and the South Coast of Haiti and the Dominican Republic in the coming 48 hours.

From there, the uncertainty grows, with Cuba, the Bahamas, and Florida all POSSIBLE destinations by the weekend.
