ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- It's a season many of us are not looking forward too, Winter!

Soon the roads will be covered in snow and ice and today Stateline snow plow drivers got to do a little practicing.

Welcome to the Snow Plow Rodeo, were more than 30 slow plow drivers from five local agencies got to test their plowing skills.

Today's rodeo had seven obstacles where drivers were graded on how well they could maneuver the plow through the course.

They better get the practice now because this winter will be here before you know it.
