ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The Rockford City Market is back for another season.

Friday was the second week of business for the market where more than 55 vendors lined Water Street in Downtown Rockford. That's about three times as many last year. Each week the market showcases different activities from local organizations. One Market-goer Tim Green says his family was having a great time this evening.

"The music, the festival we come down check out the vegetables and the flowers and just everything here in Rockford. It's just something new downtown we wanted to check out.,'' Green said.
