JO DAVIESS COUNTY (WIFR) -- The Jo Daviess County Sheriff's Office, in partnership with the JoDaviess County Highway Department, is asking all drivers to be aware of the Blizzard Warning effective until midnight tonight.
The county is asking all drivers to stay off roads until the snow storm has passed. The snowplows are having difficulty keeping the roads clear. Due to the deteriorating weather conditions, the Menominee Township has removed their snow plows from the roads until the weather conditions improved.

If you must travel, make sure you have ample fuel, a cell phone, and supplies for winter driving conditions. If you become stuck, there may be delays in receiving assistance.
The Jo Daviess County Sheriff's Office, asks that you do NOT call your local law enforcement for current road conditions or advice on travel.
