ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- High winds have been blowing through the Stateline Thursday tonight, uprooting trees and knocking down power lines.
Earlier this evening, ComEd says 4,000 people were without power. Right now there are just under 2,000 in the dark.
ComEd says they will continue to work to restore power.
The winds also brought down many tress including this one, which landed on Janet Norris' home. She says there's nothing much she can do but move forward.
"Yeah I'm still shaken up... I'm still... Yeah, it could have been worse, but we will just deal with it. What else can you do?" says Norris.
