Okay, so it's not really THAT nice out.
ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- It’s hard to believe that we still have a couple more months of winter here in the Stateline.
Unseasonably warm temperatures made today feel more like May than late January. It’s a far cry from this time last year when the blizzard of 2011 dumped more than fifteen inches of snow here in Rockford. Stateliners have been taking advantage of today's unbelievable weather. Crews were even able to start filling potholes today.
Don Onken from Rockford said, “I think it’s just great. I would certainly encourage people to get out, I was even going to get out my lawn chair, sit out and really enjoy it and stuff like that."
