KARACHI, Pakistan (AP) -- After weekend storms that killed more than 200 people, the southeast coast of Pakistan has been hammered by a cyclone.
Floodwaters have chased as many as ten-thousand people from their homes, Many are clinging to rooftops and trees.
A government spokesman says at least a dozen people, including four children, were killed yesterday when the cyclone hit the coast of Baluchistan province. Others are believed to have been lost at sea.
Navy warships and helicopters are searching the Arabian Sea for fishermen. About 125 have been rescued from swamped boats.
Helicopters and speedboats are being used to rescue hundreds of people from five isolated islands southeast of karachi.
