OCONTO, Wis. (AP) -- The Oconto County emergency management director resigns after he was criticized for his absence following last week's tornado.
Patrick LeBreck served in the position since 1990.
Government officials say LeBreck was "missing in action" in the aftermath of the June seventh tornado destroyed homes and forests and left some people without power.
County administrative coordinator Kevin Hamann says "basically he was nowhere to be found after the storm."
LeBreck declined comment.
