The Delaware Department of Transportation (DELDOT) says last week's storm is partially to blame for a bridge collapse in Sussex County.

It happened on Old Furnace Road between Seaford and Georgetown. From a local CBS Affiliate's Chopper, visible accounts of the bridge's remnants and the damage caused are evident.

DELDOT surveyed the scene Thursday, and has designated it an emergency road closure. The designation could speed up repairs, but it could still take as long as six months to complete.
