A family home in Dallas, Texas is literally on a precarious perch after heavy rains caused a landslide.
The Palmers awoke Wednesday (10/14) to find their backyard gone. Constant rain turned the park-like backyard into a massive mud slide.
Neighboring yards have also been affected by the adverse weather but the Palmer's yard, fence and retaining wall are gone.
The Palmers now say to get where their backyard used to be is like climbing down a mountain. The rain has stopped but the backyard keeps dropping.
The couple says they City of Dallas told them they are not responsible and their insurance doesn't cover mudslides.
Although the couple doesn't know what they're going to do next, they now understand people in similar situations.

Reading the story, it doesn't give address. My friend said it was High Brush Drive, which I live on High Brush and no we don't have a creek in our back yard people. Really concerned, it would be helpful if the news story stated more facts. Thank you.
