NWS Confirms Weak Tornado Touchdown Near Orangeville Monday
The National Weather Service's Davenport Forecast Office was dispatched to rural Stephenson County Tuesday to perform a damage survey to assess whether the damage caused by Monday's storm was the product of a tornado, or straight-line winds. Their conclusion: An EF-0 tornado with estimated 85 MPH winds.
