People near Cleveland, Ohio got a dose of winter Wednesday.
Two inches of snow fell on parts of the region, slowing morning commutes and forcing people to break out their snow shovels. The snow was triggered by a cold air mass that hovered over much of the Northeast, bringing snow to sections of New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Forecasters said the winter blast was a temporary condition.
Temperatures were expected to return to the 60-degree range by Friday (10/31/08).
