People and utility crews are cleaning up in Billings, Montana after weekend of near or record breaking snow fall.

Heavy, wet snow fell in Billings all weekend long, piling up to nearly two feet in many areas. Many trees lost branches because snow piled up on them because leaves still hadn't fallen yet.

Utility companies say they took about 22,000 complaints from customers who were dealing with various problems. Power company officials say about a thousand people were without power as branches came down on power lines during the storm.

While there is a lot of snow and tree debris to clean up, there is good news as the sun returned on Monday (10-13-08), helping to melt off all that piled up snow.
