Illinois State Police say the main roadway to O'Hare International Airport has reopened after flooding closed the route for nearly one hour. Heavy rain and significant flooding caused authorities to close Interstate 190 to traffic from 10:25 am until 11:23 am Saturday. Other area expressways remain flooded, with the Edens Expressway closed to traffic in both directions at Pratt Street. The Chicago Department of Aviation report flight delays of an hour or more. Some flight cancellations are expected throughout the day. The Chicago Transit Authority's Blue Line service is temporarily shut down between the Rosemont and O'Hare stations. Midway Airport reports mostly normal operations, except for flight cancellations to Houston.
