Strong storms swept through Stephenson County tonight causing widespread damage. The Sherrif's office tells us that about half the county was without power as of 10pm Monday. Several roads including Rock City Rd and Holland Church Rd were close for several hours due to downed power lines and fallen trees. Fortunately no injuries have been reported. Power is expected to be back up in most places by Tuesday.
