Heavy rains over the last month have brought river levels across the Stateline up. The Rock River at Rockton is currently the highest at one and a half feet above flood stage. Other high water areas include the Rock River at Latham Park currently one foot above flood stage and the Pecatonica River near Shirland currently at a half a foot above flood stage. Other area rivers are right at or below flood stage right now and with drier weather expected this week even rivers that are running high are forecasted to be below flood stage by next Sunday.
