A strong spring storm swept through Kentucky Friday (4/11) afternoon.
The line of heavy thunderstorms brought tornado and flash flooding warnings in the south-central and southeastern part of the state. The National Weather Service will investigate several reports of funnel clouds.
In Wayne County the damage is extensive. Trees toppled onto homes, barn roofs were blown off, and mobile homes flipped over. A tree split one mobile home in half.
Residents are in shock as they assess the damage and begin to pick up the pieces.
