If you've yet to make plans for Saturday, I'd like to help you out! FermiLab's Annual Tornado and Severe Weather Seminar takes place this Saturday at Noon and 6:00pm at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, IL. The free, four hour session is hosted by my colleague and friend, WGN-TV/Chicago Tribune Chief Meteorologist Tom Skilling, with the diligent assistance of the National Weather Service, and the FermiLab Visual Media Services Department.
This year's program includes presentations from ten speakers ranging from the topics of Tornadoes, Hail, Lightning, and Storm Chasing.
A full list of speakers, the topics covered, along with directions to FermiLab can be found at the National Weather Service -- Chicago Forecast Office's website at www.weather.gov/chicago
