The never-ending winter struck again Thursday (3/27/08) and Friday (3/28/08), dumping snow across the Toledo, Ohio region.
Sights of snow covered roads, homes and trees were commonplace across the Glass City region. Forecasters said about five inches of snow fell on sections of northwest Ohio.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OHP) said it received multiple reports of cars spinning out or sliding off slick roads. Officials in Toledo said they
dispatched 30 snowplows to clear the streets.
While the majority of school districts were off for Easter break, a handful of those not on break did close or delay their openings because of the snow on Friday.
