Two people were injured while working to remove storm debris from a home in metro Atlanta Tuesday (02/26) afternoon.
According to witnesses the two men were working at removing a tree off of a house in Roswell, Georgia when the accident happened.
The two men were rushed to an area hospital with serious injuries.
The tree removal workers apparently were trying to cut the tree down when it gave way falling to the ground trapping the men beneath it.
Some 93-thousand Georgia Power customers lost electricity as the fast-moving thunderstorms moved across Georgia, knocking down trees.
Many trees with weakened roots from the drought were toppled by the high winds, lightning and rain.
