Weather woes are continuing in Indiana Wednesday (2/13). This time, ice jams are causing more flooding in White County.
Huge chunks of ice formed on Lake Shafer Tuesday (2/12) covering about a two-and-a-half mile stretch. The ice jams sent water into nearby homes and business.
On Wednesday the situation was much the same. Operators at the Norway Dam tried unsuccessfully to vary the water flow to break up the ice.
The problem has become so bad that the National Guard is being called up to help sandbag.
FEMA along with several other agencies plan to hold a public meeting on Friday (2/15) for flood victims in White County.
