The Department of Natural Resources begins taking reservations by mail January 2nd.
February 1st is the start of reservations in person or over the phone.
Officials say in-person reservations are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. A daily lottery is conducted for mail-in reservations.
Campsites can be reserved for a maximum of 14 nights per 30-day period. Reservations must be made at least seven days in advance.
A five dollar fee per site is due when the reservation is made.
