A man cheats death after remnants of Hurricane Noel brought a tree down onto his SUV.
68-year old Antonio Cardoza was driving during Saturday's when storm strong winds and heavy rains caused a tree to collapse onto the roof of his SUV. Cardoza continued down the road with the tree lodged into his windshield.
When the vehicle finally came to a stop, emergency crews transported Cardoza to a Rhode Island hospital. Cardoza suffered a broken neck from the accident, but is on the road to recovery.
Cardoza was listed in stable condition Monday (11/5) and is wearing a halo brace due to his injury.
