Flash flood warnings and watches have been issued from the Missouri-Iowa-Nebraska border all the way up to Des Moines in central Iowa. Many will expire Thursday morning (10-18).
Some relief is in sight. Forecasters predict showers and scattered thunderstorms through Friday (10-19). But by Saturday (10-20) sunny skies are expected to move in.
