From the Weather Lab: This new module will allow our staff meteorologists to supply a brief write-up of what to expect in the event of a severe weather situation. This is just a test.
A Rockford family needs our help, after a fire broke out in their home yesterday afternoon. It happened on the 2000 block of Elm Street. The blaze was sparked by a child playing with a cigarette lighter. A woman and another child got out safely but a 3-year-old had to be saved by a firefighter.
All three are expected to be okay. Right now, the family needs clothes. Particularly triple extra large shirts and size 24 pants. If you would like to help out call 968-0289.
